Subject: Extension of 2% Subvention in the rate of interest on Rupee Export Credit, upto 31-03-2010

Dear Member,

We would like to inform you that it has been decided by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to extend the facility of 2% Subvention in the rate of interest on Rupee Export Credit for a further period of six months i.e from 1-10-2009 to 31-03-2010, to the same sectors (which include Textiles) and on the same terms and conditions, vide Notification No RBI/2009-10/110, DBOD. Dir (Exp). BC No. 26/04.02.001/2009-10 dated 31-07-2009 and issued Directive to the Banks .

A copy of the Notification along with a copy of the Directive (No. DBOD.Dir. (Exp). BC. No. 25/04.02.001/2009-10 dated 31-07-2009 issued by RBI to the Banks in this regard can be downloaded from the following link:
