Further to our E Serve Notification No.
002_10 dated
13-01-2010, we are pleased
to inform you that Council’s representation for inclusion of Cotton
Woven Fabrics in the list of New Market Linked Focus Products has been
considered favourably by the O/o the DGFT
and Cotton Woven Fabrics covered under ITC/HS Codes 5208 to 5212
are now included in Table 6 under Appendix 37 D of Handbook
of Procedures, Vol. I for the eligibility of Duty Credit Scrip at
2% of FOB value for exports
made w.e.f. 01-01-2010 to 15 notified
countries, vide Public Notice No. 33/2009-14 dated 13-01-2010. We are
reproducing here below a copy of Public Notice issued by the DGFT, New Delhi, for your kind information

MARKET LINKED FOCUS PRODUCTS scheme
In exercise of the powers
conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the
Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments
in HBPv1, for benefits on exports made on or after 1.1.2010:
1. The following shall be added in Appendix 37D, Table 6:
