Sub : Invitation to participate in Textiles Fair in South Korea – PREVIEW IN DAEGU -2017 March 8-10 , 2017
We are glad to inform you that the Council will be participating in the textiles fair to be held in South Korea in the month of March 2017. Details are as under :

Dates : March 8-10 , 2017 / 3 days
Timings : 10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m . Closing day ( 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m )
Venue : 1 F EXCO , Daegu , South Korea.
Booth size : 9 sq.mtrs each ( with basic facility equipped)
We would invite you to participate in this event and benefit from the huge potential to develop exports of textiles to Korea . Preview in Daegu 2017 is a fair for textiles including Yarn , Fabrics , Home textiles and Garments.

About Preview In Daegu 2017
Preview In Daegu is an established trade fair which takes place every year. The industry sectors covered in this fair are textiles ( including yarn) , home textiles, fabrics and Garments . The fair which started in 2001 has over the years gained a reputation and attracts a large number of buyers from South Korea as well as from other Countries. The event is widely publicized and this year also it will accommodate a large number of exhibitors.
The last fair was held in 2016.
Total number of visitors : 23488 ( including : foreign visitors from 25 countries )
Total number of exhibitors : 326 Companies with 644 booths
Buyers : Buyers from 25 countries including China, Japan, Europe, Asia , North and South America , The Middle East and Africa had visited the exhibition.
About South Korea
Indian Exports of textiles to South Korea
Exports of textiles & clothing from India to South Korea in 2015-16 was to the tune of US$ 354 million.
India is the 2nd largest exporter of cotton yarn to South Korea next to China . Exports of cotton yarn in 2015-16 was US$ 116.27 million.
India is the 3rd largest exporter of cotton fabrics to South Korea next to China and Vietnam . Exports of cotton fabrics in 2015-16 was US$ 85.30 million.
Export potential for textiles & clothing from India to South Korea
The event is covered under Market Access Initiatives ( MAI) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India subject to the prescribed conditions.
We are pleased to offer you a subsidized participation fees of Rs.55,000/- for a 9 sq.mtr booth with standard accessories.
