Certificate of Origin service by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council

Dear Member,

As you may be aware, w.e.f 1st January 2025, the Government of India has mandated that all applications for issuance of Electronic Certificates of Origin (eCoO) be submitted only through the Trade Connect Portal (https://www.trade.gov.in). This transition is a part of the Government’s larger digitalization initiative aimed at providing efficiency, transparency and ease of doing business in export documentation and certification.

As a valued member of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, we wish to remind you that the issuance of Non-Preferential eCoO falls within the ambit of the services offered by the Council to support your export activities if its members.

Hence, we urge you to avail Non-Preferential Electronic Certificates of Origin (eCoO) service through us by selecting The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (CTEPC) from the drop-down menu while applying on the Trade Connect Portal.

Steps to follow:

Visit https://www.trade.gov.in
Navigate to “Apply for Non-Preferential eCoO”
In the issuing authority drop-down menu , select: [The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (CTEPC)
Proceed with your application and upload the required documents

By choosing The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (CTEPC) as your issuing authority you not only contribute to strengthening the institutional role of the Council but also help us build more accurate export data which is essential for presenting to the Government.
